A flower doesn’t ask or want anything, but it just blooms.
A flower never clings to its own life.
It is not afraid of losing its life.
In its figure of not clinging to anything, but rather without self —
there is the beauty of flower.
The beauty is a figure of selflessness and unselfishness.
Where self is completely renounced, there is the beauty of life.
On the contrary, where you cling to self , there is the ugliness.
A flower is completely free because it doesn’t have any self.
Humans lose freedom because of self and the mind remains bound.
We humans live binding ourselves.
Renouncing self is the first step of freedom.
Renounce what you were in the past, and renounce what you will be in the future.
When self is completely renounced, there are freedom and beauty.
It is the same with the freedom, beauty of life, purity that a flower has.
Where you cling to self and try to maintain it, there is fear.
Renouncing self is accepting the death of yourself,
and not being afraid of death and the end of yourself like a flower.
Where you live selflessly like a flower, there are complete peace and freedom of mind.
It is a way of living without seeking, wanting or sticking to anything, but renouncing everything each moment.
Such a life is truly free and has truth of life itself.
