Human obsession in mind inevitably reaches misery in the course of time.
No matter what kind of obsession the object is, it doesn’t last forever.
Whether it is human relationships or spiritual source of support in mind,
they surely vanish sooner or later.

We obsess over various things, and the obsessed things support us.
The stronger the obsession, the bigger the sorrow becomes when we lose them.
While we hold the obsession, our mind is afraid of losing the objects.

Mind obsesses over the object and is constantly afraid of losing it,
and finally when the object is lost, the mind loses its support and collapses.
It is your obsession that causes such situation.

We obsess over our satisfaction and the objects that satisfy our mind.
This become the zest for living and the support of mind,
but what begins there are incessant struggle for self-defense, fear and anxiety.

There is no freedom in such mental activities.
If you tie your mind to some object, you can never be free.
Whether the object is a person, money, your job or God —

Obsession is always the selfish movements of mind.
You obsess over something to cling to yourself.

From obsession, feelings like anger, jealousy or hatred arise.
For example, when you feel someone else took the object,
or your own object or obsessed things which maintain you are destroyed or lost by something,
such feelings arise.

Obsession is human ugliness and immaturity.
It doesn’t set yourself or others free.
It ties both yourself and others.

Obsession arises from human ego.
To live without obsession means to abandon ego.
It is to abandon ‘ego’ which always thinks only in a self-centered manner.
Human beauty, purity and freedom of mind emerge from complete self-renunciation.
