Empty spirit with nothing is the highest state of fullness.
When the spirit is completely empty and the mind is not lost in anything,
there is only the universe itself.

Human spirit is like a perforated bucket.
Various things can be poured into there.
Your belief, sense of God or possessions of mind.
However, whatever it is, it flows off through the hole and vanishes.

Every spiritual possession is temporary,
and it never lasts forever.
You may feel satisfied while holding it,
but no matter how much you are obsessed with it and try to hold it,
the reality of death surely eliminates it in the end.

No matter how much your spirit is filled with something,
it always flows off through the hole and vanishes.
Then what is the state of complete fullness in our mind at all?
How is it to be in the state of fullness without losing or vanishing?

Don’t pour anything into the spiritual bucket any more
and leave it completely empty. Throw away the bucket itself.
Then, we stop being obsessed with petty possessions in the bucket,
step out of the boundary of the tiny bucket and become the universe itself as a whole.

There is no bucket any more.
Without a bucket, there is nothing to pour into.
If we don’t pour, there is nothing to flow off and vanish.
When the bucket we have constantly tried to fill is gone, there is complete fullness.

There is infinite emptiness and the whole of life.
Life is the entire universe and not something to put in a tiny bucket.
When the boundary of a spiritual bucket is gone, there is complete fullness.
It is a well of life welling out incessantly afresh like spring water.
