Why do we constantly keep on seeking?
What do we seek at all?

Pursuit of money, success, honor, status or pleasure.
Pursuit of relationship, romance, spirituality, belief or religion.
Whether it is worldly or spiritual,
seeking it is human desire.

Why do we seek?
Is it because we can’t endure being vacant?
Is it because we can’t be satisfied if our mind isn’t always filled with something?
Are there constant pursuit of satisfaction and self-achievement?

Have you ever thought why a flower is beautiful?
A flower doesn’t seek its own satisfaction nor self-realization,
but it is blooming just quietly blown in the wind.
It is not only external beauty but also true beauty of a flower.

If a flower begins seeking something
and moving incessantly to acquire self-satisfaction or self-achievement like humans,
the flower would lose its beauty.
No matter how beautiful its appearance is, if its inside is full of ugly desires,
there is the inner grotesqueness.

It is the same with humans.
Whether it is a man or a woman, how many people there are who are lost in desire and jealousy,
who are lost in self-achievement and self-obsession!

Flowers don’t seek anything nor get obsessed with themselves.
Their destitute figure (figure of nothingness) is exactly the beauty of flowers.

We humans can live with the same inner beauty as flowers.
