The Wisdom of Native Americans — Part 3
“In deep silence and solitude, we encounter great mystery.”
Communion with mystery of life always occurs in deep silence.
Silence includes not only external but also internal.
If the spirit is bustling and not quiet, it couldn’t interact with mystery.
For silence to be, solitude is necessary.
Silence doesn’t come in noisy crowds or bustles.
When the spirit calms down in complete solitude,
it begins to be possible to interact with mystery.
And it is solemn meditation coming from deep solitude and silence.
Our spirit sharpens in solitude and silence,
and interacts with mystery in enhanced attentiveness and awakening.
Without such clear sensitivity,
it is impossible to interact with mystery of life and the universe.
Meditation coming from deep silence opens up the new dimension of life.
The sacred mystery of the universe is disclosed only by deep silence.
Besides, to have deep meditation,
we should end bustles and chaos in spirit
and stay in solitude and absolute tranquility.
Then and only then, it becomes possible to interact with mystery.
