The Words of J. Krishnamurti, a Revolutionist of Life — Part 34

“Thought always has its limit.
However, the spirit is infinite in meditation.
When the limited thought ends, infinity appears.”

Thought is limited,
because it has the end.
All thought ends.
Therefore, thought is totally limited.

Infinity in meditation is beyond thought.
Meditation begins where thought ends.
Rather, as long as thought is in motion,
true meditation would never come.

Infinity is “unknowable”.
Besides, it is “endless”.
Thus, meditation has neither “destination”, “achievement” nor “accomplishment”.
It is the unknown journey forever and limitlessly new.

Thought is constantly old and the same as memory.
To have the unknown and new, thought must end.
If something is limited, it is not infinite.
Unless something is infinite, it is not meditation.
