The Words of Simone Weil, The Witness of Truth and Light — Part 26

“To be a man of righteousness, we should be dead, naked.”

Being dead, naked means
completely abandoning our ego (self).
Furthermore, it is being totally “nothing”.

Abandon the illusion of ego of “I exist”,
and return to the entirely nameless life.
When the ego of “me” and its illusion are gone,
there is truth of life.

Existence of truth is the bare life itself.
It is the nameless and wordless existence as it is.
Existence is life, and life is existence itself.
It has neither “me” nor “you”.
It has only “life” called the universe.

Kill your “ego” —
It is to be selfless and to stay in the unselfish state,
and this total self-abandonment brings in truth of life.

Killing illusion of “ego”
and returning to completely naked life
is becoming one with the nameless universe.
It is simultaneously going back to nameless God.

Life is neither “me” nor “you”, but the nameless universe itself.
