“You must avoid religions that fill the emptiness of your mind or relieve agony.
It is the same with religions of immortality or reincarnation.
Besides, it’s also the same with religions that see the act of God or the will of God in every events.
In other words, you must reject every ‘consolation’ generally sought in religions.”
Some people cling to beliefs of groundless immortality or reincarnation.
And some people believe that they live in accordance with the will of God.
Why do we live clinging to such beliefs?
We want spiritual reward or consolation for ourselves,
and seek it in a specific religion or belief.
There are self-pity and a feeling of clinging to ourselves.
There is a desire of asking reward by any means.
However, is such belief the truth at all?
To believe a religion with an expectation of obtaining reward,
or to believe teachings or ideologies with an expectation of getting consolation and satisfaction,
do such minds lost in self-centeredness have the truth at all?
Both ‘consolation’ and ‘reward’ asked by self-centered ego are
just desires of humans which try to acquire self-complacency and self-realization.
There is no any truth in such things.
Deny any teachings of groundless religion based on falseness.
Reject any religion that is a matter of imagination or delusion.
Don’t ask reward or consolation only to fill your desire or wish.
Don’t depend on teachings that fill your self-complacency.
Such spirits purify our mind.
Reward, consolation, self-realization —
Distancing yourself flatly from such sweet spiritual temptation or teachings,
looking clearly at the reality and live in the reality are truly sound religious state of spirit.
Only after acquiring such sound spirit, we can really pursue the truth.
